Bicycle weather

Ah yes, bicycle weather! Isn't this advertisement great? I love this bicycle. I had one a lot like that one that I got at the Goodwill in 1997. I called it the "red rocket". An old vintage red bike with one speed and you had to back peddle to break. It was great. I thought leaving it locked up outside wouldn't be a problem. Wrong. It got stolen in 2001. I haven't had a bike since. I've been thinking about getting a new one.

So here is another painting dealing with my obsession with the bike I used to ride. It is called "Back from the Vet" and it is up for grabs on ebay.

OH! Also, I will be having a little etsy shop update tomorrow.

Hugs to all!
xoxo

You know, oddly enough that is just the bike I was eyeing at the store just yesterday...
isn't that strange..?

Well, my husband just bought a bike and he asked me to get one (I am the only one in the family with no bike now) I am kind of afraid to ride again. I was thinking about getting some rollerblades instead.
Your painting looks so beautiful!

Love the ad! I am reminded of my old bike ... my first full-size two=wheeler ... yep--one speed ... back-pedal to break ... 1960-something. Dig it.:)

I had a purple scooter stolen from me when I was like 9 and I still haven't fully let it go, LOL! I was SO mad.

Your painting perfectly embodies how I want every bike ride to be! Now if only I could get my cat to stay in a basket.

Yay for bicycle weather!
My very first bicycle was a BEAUTIFUL kelly green and I LOVED it. I don't have one at the moment. My daughter does, I should borrow hers, but it is scary riding on our streets. Big hills, lots of cars. Beep beep!

My first bike was a blue. It's still my favorite color. Love your painting.

My first two-wheel bike was blue and white. I received it as a present on my fifth birthday. Riding that bike made me feel 10 feet tall. I was so proud...no more training wheels! I have a picture of me standing next the bike with a wide grin. I was wearing hot pink tights and a wool jumper in rust and dark green plaid. Mom had let me dress myself for the first time. It was a very big day. Hot pink and rust, who cares! I had so much fun. Thanks Tascha for your inspiring bike post. Your art and enthusiasm for life makes me happy!

Cute painting! I like the ad too!

I am looking for a bike
or a tricycle.

I see this man year round
riding a tricycle around here.

It has a big basket on the back.

He has a cover attached for
the bad weather. Like for rain.

God Bless Your Creative Life!!!

That's fantastic! I'm so glad the bird is going to be alright, thanks to you & Morgan! Thank you Morgan! Great news is good news! Thanks for telling us what happened! We all can take a lesson in this too! I would have done the same thing too but I'm glad you did! I bought one of your paintings a while ago on eBay. I had no idea this was you! I appreciated the kind note you put in the box too! Thank you for being so genuinely kind! You're a true artist from the heart! All the best, Debbie in NY
